Trevi is one-and-a half to two hours' drive from Rome, two-and-a-half to three hours from Florence and less than two hours from Ancona. It is a short drive to Assisi and Spoleto and the lesser-known jewels of Montefalco, Spello and Bevagna. Perugia and Todi are each about 40 minutes away.
It is about 1.45 hours by fast train from Rome (nearest stations Spoleto or Foligno). For getting about in the area a car is essential.
